Terms and Conditions of Sale

It is very important to us that our customers have an enjoyable and safe experience when shopping in our online shop in terms of both delivery and should you regret your purchase. If you need help and advice in relation to your purchase, please contact us by email or telephone.

 

Payment:

We use Klarna Check Out where you can pay with card. Which cards that are accepted may vary between countries, but you will see which ones will work for you once you go to the check out and start filling in your address information. 

Customers in Norway, Sweden and Finland can in addition choose Klarna invoice.

It is also possible to pay by PayPal. 

By providing information at the checkout you authorize Klarna’s terms. By clicking on "Complete Purchase" you authorize the terms and conditions of sale at Juhls’ Silver Gallery.

 

Shipping and delivery within Norway:

All prices include VAT. We offer free shipping for orders over 2000 NOK, otherwise freight costs 75 NOK all over the country. 

Your order will normally be processed within 24 hours after the order is registered.

Provided that the ordered jewelery are in stock we will have them sent as soon as possible, at least within 3 working days. Freight takes 1-6 working days depending on where in Norway it shall be delivered. Should the ordered jewelery not be in stock, we will give notice on how long it will take before we can have it sent. 

We send your order by Posten's climate neutral service package. The package is delivered climate neutrally. This means that Posten undertakes to reduce transport greenhouse gas emissions and also to compensate for remaining emissions. Read more on posten.no/miljo. You are notified of the arrival of the packge by SMS, e-mail or by a message in your mailbox.

Unclaimed goods, or goods refused to be received, will be returned to us at the customer’s expense. The customer will be charged for both freight and return costs to Juhls' Silver Gallery.

If an injury occurs during shipping and there is visible damage to the packaging, sign only with reservation. Please contact us so we can fix the situation! If the item is delivered directly in your mailbox, you must keep the damaged packaging and products and bring them to the post office where you get a schedule of damage which must be filled in. Follow Posten’s procedures. This must be done for the item to be replaced by us.

 

Shipping and delivery outside of Norway:

When sent abroad the Norwegian VAT (25 % value-added tax) will be taken off the price. On the english webshop the VAT is already excluded on the prices. We use DHL as the carrier for all shipments outside Norway. They also perform customs clearance in the country of destination. This means that you will get a separate invoice for VAT and declaration fees calculated by the rules of the country of destination. Within the Nordic region freight will be at a fixed price of 190 NOK, for Europe and USA 290 NOK and to the rest of the world 390 NOK. 

Provided that the ordered jewelery is in stock we will have them sent as soon as possible, at least within 3 working days. Time for shipping varies depending on the destianation, everything from 2-8 working days. Bigger cities goes faster than rural areas.

Should the ordered jewelery not be in stock, we will give notice on how long it will take before we can have it sent. 

Unfortunately we can not send jewelry to Russia due to their import rules.

Right to withdraw:

How do I return or exchange an item?

If the ordered jewelery doesn’t fit or if you for some other reason would like to return the item you have full return policy for 14 days after the item has been received. To use the right of withdrawal the customer must notify us at Juhls’ Silver Gallery by e-mail within the deadline. You must also notify us on how you wish to return the item.

It is assumed that goods are returned in the same condition and quantity. Cancellation rights do not apply if the product has been used or if damage or deterioration, caused by negligence or lack of care by the consumer, has occured. 

Items should be returned complete in its original packaging. You are solely responsible for the return shipment and are encouraged to use a transmission form that allows for package tracking, as well as compensation if the goods were to be damaged or lost during transmission. Return costs are borne by the consumer (cf. Withdraw Act § 15 first paragraph).

The money for the goods will be paid back within a week after we have received them.

 

 

If the goods are returned from a country outside of Norway is of utmost importance to fill in a Proforma invoice and specify there why the item is being returned. Ask your local post office for help with this. This is to avoid that Juhls' Silver Gallery is charged with taxes and other fees for importation of goods. If this is not done, we might be forced to refuse to accept the package.

 

If you would like to exchange the product for another one or a different size of the same product it is also a good idea to contact the local Customs office in your country for more information on the import rules at an exchange. Since these rules might vary alot between countries it could be important to avoid being charged with VAT once again on the exchanged item.

Although you wouldn’t have the right of withdrawal anymore or if the cancellation period has expired, you of course still have statutory warranty if the product has errors or omissions.

 

Complaints and statutory warranty:

All jewelry from us are inspected for defects before being put up for sale. Should there still be errors or omissions on any of the products there is cause for complaint. We will then take the cost for the return. In case of a defect item, you must within a reasonable time after you have discovered it, give us notice of this. Complaints can’t be made later than two years after the buyer received the goods.
