Tradition in Silver

The silver we create is connected to traditional costumes shaped by different landscapes and ways of life – from coast and fjords to mountains and rural communities. While many of these garments are of recent origin, the silver draws on local history, nature, and craft traditions, where plants, flowers, and natural forms play a central role.

For the Finnmarksbunad, the Altabunad, and the Norwegian Fjellbygdsbunad, each piece of silver is developed with respect for place, materials, and form. Every piece has its own character, shaped by nature and carefully adapted to the garments. The silver for the Kystdrakt is inspired by coastal flora and fauna and the shimmering sea.
